led by Richard Maddra

Young explorers will become palaeontologists as they search for their own fossils. Guided by friendly experts from the YGS, children will learn how fossils form and uncover clues about how the creatures lived millions of years ago.

Perfect for curious children who love fossils, nature and outdoor fun  - come and uncover the past one fossil at a time.

Meet at Marske Road car park – the first one after passing the Stray café, TS10 3RF, Redcar.

Parking is free but you still need a ticket.

Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. The trip leader is DBS checked.
