For Yorkshire Geology Day the YGS team up with the National Coal Mining Museum for England to celebrate the region’s geology.
The day includes a range of talks on topics varying from ammonites to Yorkshire’s ice age landscapes.
Bring along your rocks and fossils we’ll have experts on hand to identify them and we’ll even have a rock saw to cut open specimens and see what wonders lie within!
